The Principal of RD Engineering and Consulting Pty Ltd, Roy Doveton is a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer who has diversified into the Chemical field through over 30 years of Operational and Design Engineering expertise, including 20 years in Design, Operation and Maintenance of a synthetic Soda Ash and Sodium Bicarbonate plant, 3 years in Pulp and Paper and 6 years in Iron and Steel. Roy has visited and had technology exchanges with Alkali plants in Germany, UK, France, China, India, Japan, USA and operational and design experience in Australia.
Roy was instrumental in conducting research and development into a solution for the extracted water from Coal Seam Gas operations in Australia and following his work, registered a patent on the technology.
